Sci-fi series Cassandra on Netflix: Artificial intelligence as a household help hides a terrible past
Samira (Mina Tander) moves with her family into a mysterious smart home that has been empty for 50 years after the previous owners died. There they come across the electronic household helper Cassandra (Lavinia Wilson), which was developed in the 1970s and is still deeply influenced by that time.
As much as she initially helps the family with everyday tasks, she soon demands to become an equal member of the family. She wants to avoid reliving her traumatic past at all costs…
When is the German sci-fi series Cassandra coming to Netflix?
Cassandra was written by Benjamin Gutsche, who also directed the Netflix series. In addition to Wilson and Tander, the sci-fi format also stars Michael Staple (The Teacher’s Room), Franz Hartwig (The Pass), Mary Tölle (A Girl Called Willow) and Joshua Kantara (Girl You Know It’s True).
The sci-fi series premieres on February 6, 2025 appear on Netflix. Cassandra is designed as a miniseries and consists of six episodes.
