The Generali Group awarded with the Transatlantic Award

(Finance) – Il Generali Group was awarded byAmerica Chamber of Commerce in Italy with the Transatlantic Award for investments on the transatlantic axis. The recognition was withdrawn by Carlo TrabattoniCEO of Generali Asset & Wealth Management, during the seventeenth edition of the “Transatlantic Award Gala Dinner”, which took place last night in Milan in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani – who was recognized as “Transatlantic Leadership Award” – by the Ambassador of Italy to the United States of America, Mariangela Zappia, and by Jack Markell, Ambassador of the United States of America to Italy.

Generali, one of the major global players in the insurance and asset management sector, has been rewarded for the acquisition of Conning Holdings Limited from Cathay Life, a company controlled by Cathay Financial Holdings, one of the most important financial institutions in Asia. Conning Holdings Limited, based in the States Unitedis among the main global asset managers dedicated to insurance customers and
institutional with approximately $157 billion in Assets Under Management.

Following the acquisition of Conning and its subsidiaries, the Group’s overall Assets under Management will increase to 845 billion dollars. Thanks to the operation, the diversified skills of investment and Generali’s third-party business extends to both the United States and Asia, in line with its strategyLifetime Partner 24: Driving Growth‘ of the group.
