141 entries compete to be this year’s gingerbread house at the Architecture and Design Center (Arkdes) on Skeppsholmen in Stockholm. For the fourth year in a row, the group of friends Sanna Livijn Wexell, Cecilia Clarving, Monika Stenholm and Anna Olofsson have delivered their contribution and at best they will be able to claim their third first prize. Everything must be edible. Young people, adults, amateurs and professionals build and create side by side for this year’s theme, which is “Around the corner”. The participants themselves have had to choose how they interpret the theme. And the contestants are divided into three categories Architects, designers and bakers, Up to 12 years and All other bakers. And all ingredients must be edible.
