During the launch of its new Galaxy S22 range, Samsung also announced the 4.1 update to its One UI overlay. This update will also be rolled out to other Galaxy smartphones, starting with the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3.

Subsequently, the update will be available for Galaxy S21 and Galaxy A smartphones, as well as Galaxy Tab S7 FE tablets. Samsung plans to roll it out to other Galaxy devices later, such as the S20 and S10 series, as well as the Z Fold2, Fold, Z Flip, Note20, and Note10+ models.

Among the new functions brought by version 4.1 are screen sharing in Google Duo live sharing and writing assistance functions in the virtual keyboard.

Galaxy S22 and S21 Ultra smartphone users will be able to edit their photos and videos more precisely with the Expert RAW app. The app will be available for Galaxy Z Fold3 in April, then later this year for Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note20 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold2.

With the erase tool, it is possible to remove objects from a photo, but also, on compatible devices (Galaxy S10 and above), shadows and reflections.

One UI 4.1 users also benefit from a quick sharing function for multiple photos and videos.
