– Quite a lot has happened since the previous committee submitted its proposals in 2018, says the committee’s chairman, former KD leader Göran Hägglund.
One of the points raised is that public service program offerings must be broad in the future as well.

In February last year, the government appointed a committee with the task of investigating the future of the public service companies SVT, SR and UR.
Concretely, it concerns how much money the companies should receive, how they should be managed and what they should do in the years 2026 to 2033.
The presentation of the committee’s proposal is two weeks late, which is due to a broad division that has arisen between the Tidö parties and S, V, MP and C regarding the content of the investigation.
