The fruit salad scene in Farmer Wants a Wife made me crawl out of my own skin

This text is a column with opinions that are the writer’s own and not Nyheter24’s.

This week’s Farmer Seeks Wife delivers MINSANN properly and this episode I really sat and hugged a pillow because of several aspects.

On Mimi– the farm now replaces the kisses each other. This time it was Martin who, after a little pub hangout, asked Mimmi if she wanted to hang out and sit on a blanket for a little chat. But his plan was crystal clear.

He was ready to go for the kiss.

I really think this concept can be perfect for a little more shy guys as they are actually pushed a little to take the initiative. And their shyness is only seen as positive as they are a bit the opposite of “macho pacho I’ll take for myself if I want”.

But as it is during a first kiss, someone really has to take care of it. Mimmi is nice and let him control the roller, so when the planets were right, he drove. And it went great.

But then – when ERIK BUGGED UP MIMMI?! Legs lift, hair flies – chemistry ensues. Now, you should definitely not romanticize alcohol, but this is what happens more easily with a little under your belt. And I love it.

If it’s wrong to say so, I don’t want to be right…

On Jens farm, feelings continue to sprout in the girls. And this time it was two people who had to leave.

I knew it was one that wouldn’t have to leave… and it did. Who I suspect will be the last one left, we will of course wait to get into. But I think this was a bit of love at first sight on the speed dating side.

The sick thing about Jens is that he quickly set the entire pile’s hearts on fire because you can really see the panic in their eyes when he has to choose. Afterwards, there is disappointment and tears, and as usual you suffer a great deal with them.

But now we come to the part of the program that touched me the most. Why it did was because it makes it so clear how hard it must be to date someone you have a crush on IN A GROUP?!

Jenny and the ostrich farmer Mickey decides to “test his ride” and therefore goes on a day trip with his motorcycle. There is coffee, kisses, hugs and it becomes cozy deluxe. These are two who really like each other. It shows.

But. Now we all know that there are some ladies waiting at home on the farm.

– Wonder when they will return? Should we start with some dinner perhaps?

– I don’t know… it’s difficult. Should you start with the food or not. They must also eat, but when?

Since the brides don’t know when they will be back, they cut up a small fruit salad as a little “wonder when it will be food” dessert. A dessert that you only eat when you don’t know when/if your date will call. The same before a date if you don’t know if there will be dinner or not.

When the fruit salad is scooped up, the girls hear the sound of a motorcycle and the pigeons are back.

– Have you had a good time here at home?, Jenny asks kindly.

– Yes, we have been where you left us, you could say…, she gets in response.

– Nemen, is it true?

– Yes. But we’ve had a good time. You shouldn’t think about us when you leave like that, says Mariette, who stayed at home.

The disappointment is present but so is the politeness.

This stage I think is the worst in the Bonde adventure. When you see feelings start to arise between someone you like and someone you’re honestly trying to screw up.

But good TV. It will be.
