The friends about the 20-year-old’s confession: “Feels great anxiety”

The friends about the 20 year olds confession Feels great anxiety

Published: Just now

After almost three months in custody, the 20-year-old admits that she was involved in the death of 21-year-old Tove in Vetlanda due to an accident.

Several of the friends react with both relief and sadness after the confession.

– The last few months have been hard for me and all my friends as you don’t know what has happened, says one of them.

Until now, the 20-year-old woman has denied any involvement in Tove’s murder.

But in connection with the re-arrest today, she gave for the first time some kind of consent to the suspicions, and an account of what happened.

However, the 20-year-old woman still denies the suspicion of murder, but now admits that Tove died in her apartment. She also admits that she moved Tove’s body.

– However, it was never intended that the plaintiff died. It was a tragic accident and my client has now told the police in question what happened. My client has admitted that there was some kind of assault crime and it was unfortunate circumstances that caused the plaintiff to die, says the woman’s lawyer Clea Sangborn.

– After that, there was a complete panic situation and the subsequent process, which includes breach of privacy, my client has now admitted.

“Feel great anxiety”

Tove and the suspected women hung out in the same social circle. Friends of Tove and the two suspected women say they are relieved to have received some kind of notification.

– I’ve been thinking about this since Tove disappeared. Every day. I’m relieved for the family and I’m glad she’s confessing, says a person who knows the 20-year-old.

– The last few months have been hard for me and all my friends as you don’t know what happened. I have been going to Aftonbladet every day to see if there was anything new. But now that you know, maybe we can let it go, the friend continues.

A former classmate says he has difficulty understanding how it could have happened, based on how the 20-year-old herself has recounted the course of events and which crimes she pleaded guilty to on Wednesday.

– When I think about what she has done, I feel great anxiety over the whole situation. She has seen her friend die. She has moved a dead person’s body and hid it. Regardless of how much you argued before, I don’t understand how she could do that.

Another friend says she’s upset that the confession didn’t come sooner.

– When everyone was out looking for the body, she always knew where it was, that makes the whole thing worse, she says.

– If her story is true, why didn’t they call 112? says another person.

“Skillful and popular employee”

The suspected 20-year-old previously worked at a school in Vetlanda.

When Aftonbladet talks to principal Torbjörn Stubbe, he says that she was a fixed-term employee with them until December 22 last year.

– She was a talented and popular employee. It is, in all respects, very boring for everyone, he says.

Heard noises from the suspect’s apartment

Aftonbladet has previously spoken to the neighbors who live in the same house as the 20-year-old suspect.

Several of them have experienced discomfort when they thought that there might have been a murder in the house.

One of the neighbors is shocked when he is reached by the news that Tove really died in the apartment.

– How long it took before there was a recognition, he says.

Three neighbors have previously stated that they heard three to four loud bangs from the woman’s apartment during the night of the crime.

A neighbor is said to have also knocked on the woman’s apartment to check what had happened, but without receiving an answer.

Later in the night, he also drove the suspected woman to McDonalds, and then asked her questions about the thuds he heard.

He says that in retrospect he has thought a lot about that night, and pondered what might have happened.

– There are a lot of emotions, and I think it’s terrible. It is good that she has finally told us, at the same time you feel sad when you think about what happened and the girl who died, he says.

“Does not change the investigation”

Both the 18-year-old and the 20-year-old are still in custody on suspicion of murder and grave breach.

The 20-year-old admits that she was guilty of trespassing and some form of assault, but continues to deny the suspicions of murder.

How the 18-year-old reacts to the accusations is currently unknown.

The suspicions and criminal classifications have also not changed since the 20-year-old on Wednesday indicated a new attitude to the accusations.

“It does not change anything about how we conduct the further investigation. Most of the investigative work has already been done. But the consent naturally further strengthens the suspicions we’ve had since the start of the investigation,” writes prosecutor Adam Rullman, who leads the investigation.
