The French mixed judo team was crowned European champion for the second time in its history by dominating Georgia, defending champion, in the final (4-0) this Sunday April 28 in Zagreb. After that of 2022, the Blues have won a second title in this event since the competition became mixed in 2018. To qualify for the final, they had previously easily beaten Austria (4-0) in the quarter and Germany (4-2) in the half. In the final, the French dominated the Georgians thanks to victories by Faïza Mokdar (-57 kg), Margaux Pinot (-70 kg), Joan-Benjamin Gaba (-73 kg) and Alexis Mathieu (-90 kg).
