It’s one more incident that adds fuel to an already well-stocked saga. Bertrand Meunier, chairman of the board of directors of Atos, announced his resignation this Monday, October 16 in a press release released by the IT services group. If the document does not specify the reasons for this departure, presented as a “personal decision”, the Atos manager appointed in 2019 was highly contested among shareholders.
In almost free fall since the end of July, Atos shares jumped 20% this Monday morning at the opening. Between July 27 and August 2, it lost nearly 7 points. Although it is still maintained, the overall repurchase operation has however been postponed to the start of the second quarter of 2024.
