The results of the first round of the French parliamentary elections held yesterday are now clear.

The far-right party National Alliance received 33.2 percent of the votes.

The second largest number of votes was collected by the left-wing coalition New People’s Front with 28.1 percent of votes.

President Emmanuel Macron led by the centre-right Jäsnes coalition collected 21 percent of the votes.
