The men’s World Cup quarterfinals are underway. On Saturday, Morocco and Portugal will play ( TV2, 17:00) and England and France ( TV2, 21:00). Croatia and Argentina advanced to the semi-finals on Friday.
The World Cup quarter-final between Argentina and the Netherlands was one of the most dramatic in history. There were several moments in the match that surely made the spectators ask what exactly happened.
Argentina lost a two-goal lead in the match, but recovered from Holland’s surge and eventually advanced after a penalty shootout. A total of 15 yellow cards and one red card were handed out in the match, which is a World Cup record.
