(Finance) – The ENEA “Humanizing Energy” Roadshow stops in Venice organized to promote a governance model of urban regeneration integrated with energy sustainability. The Roadshow, part of the national Italy in Class A program, promoted by the Ministry of the Environment and created by the National Agency for Energy Efficiency of ENEA, stopped in Venice at the IUAV University, Aula Gradoni.
The event, which takes its name from the bookor “AAA Humanizing Energy. Projects and Lexicons for energy sustainability” the result of the “DE-Sign” research for Italy in Class A, addresses crucial issues for the energy transition, with a focus on new languages and models of energetically sustainable urban design. Among the themes of the volume also the role of urban art as a tool for involvement, beauty, inclusion, culture and identity of places.
The Venice stop was in fact an opportunity to meet with IUAV academics and students on the themes and role of ethical design and architecture, capable not only of improving urban environments, but of taking care of citizens’ needs. Also on display is the work Arca by master Pep Marchegiani, donated in recent months to the Mayor of Rome Gualtieri. Made with waste materials and containing seeds for planting, the work represents a sustainable ecosystem that recalls the cycle of nature and aims to raise public awareness of environmental regeneration.
