According to records filed with the Tennessee court, Oher learned in February 2023 that, contrary to what she had understood, she had not signed the adoption papers and thus had not become a member of the Tuohy family.
Now, with the help of the court, Oher is demanding an accurate explanation of all the income that the Tuohys have received with the help of Oher’s name.
According to ESPN, the Tuohys and their two children were paid $225,000 for the film, along with 2.5 percent of the film’s profits.
