When he met a young supporter who couldn’t hold back the tears, he did just about everything right.
Taking a few minutes of your time to talk to supporters – especially younger ones – is something all sports stars should do. It can sometimes create lifelong memories, and it’s clear how much it means.
Fantastic clip
That is precisely why a video of the Swedish star Alexander Isak has been so widely spread. The clip, which the Swedish national team themselves posted on Twitter, is from a training session at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, during a national team meeting in the spring.
Before the training starts, Alexander Isak goes over to two younger supporters, one of whom can’t keep his eyes off her when she gets to meet her big idol. Isak is of course willing to take a picture, and also signs a shirt.
Can change clubs
Isak also stays behind and talks to both of them for a long time. Isak wondered, among other things, how much football they play, and if one day he will get to see them both play at Friends Arena. In the comment field, the tributes to Isak pour in, partly from Sweden but also internationally.

Alexander Isak is coming off a goal-wise weaker season with his Real Sociedad, but despite that he is constantly being rumored for big clubs. During this summer, clubs such as Arsenal, Real Madrid and Newcastle have been rumored to be interested in a possible transfer, which in such cases would cost a bit over half a billion kroner.
