Still highly anticipated in the field of foldable smartphones, Apple is currently working on a tablet planned for 2027, but its design would be a real headache for the firm.
Will we one day benefit from a iPhone foldable? The question has been asked since the first prototypes of the genre appeared several years ago. If foldable screen technology was quite niche at the time, it is clear that many manufacturers are now launched on this market. Samsung, XiaomiOppo, Honor, Huawei… Almost all the major brands now have one or more foldable phone models.
However, there is no sign of a possible foldable iPhone in the coming years from Apple. The firm seems however interested in this technology and has been working on it for a while to integrate it into a new type ofiPad foldable. The Apple Hub account has already imagined what such a tablet could look like.
This is not the first time that the rumor of a touch iPad has been mentioned on Apple’s side. This information comes mainly from Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst specialized in leaks of information from Apple devices and who repeats again that the firm intends to first offer a tablet foldable before looking at an iPhone of the same ilk. The analyst explains, however, that Apple seems quite mixed on the matter and cannot really say whether it is an iPad or a foldable Macbook.
