The Florida Panthers took their second win in the NHL playoffs this spring. In the match against Tampa Bay, Sergei Bobrovski’s incomprehensible save was the talking point.
Florida took a 2–0 lead in their playoff series against Tampa Bay after winning Game 2 of the series at home 3–2 in overtime.
The winning goal was scored by a winger Carter Verhaeghe, when overtime had been played for seconds and only three minutes. Finnish striker Anton Lundell scored the winning goal.
Florida took a 2-0 lead in the opening set, but the local opponent leveled in just under six minutes at the beginning of the second set of Brayden Point and By Steven Stamkos with goals.
However, Florida’s goalkeeper was responsible for the most exciting performance of the second set and the entire match Sergei Bobrovskywho rejected Matt Dumban in the company’s hand, even though his back was already facing the field. – He amazes me every night. It was a giant save at a crucial time. It seems that whenever we need him, he succeeds, Verhaeghe praised the star guard.
The second set was clearly the most even of the match. Tampa pressured the Florida zone significantly more than the other two sets. Despite conceding two goals, Bobrovski got in the way of the puck no less than 13 times in the set.
– This was a demanding match, the opponent played strongly. Thanks to the fans, this was a big win for us, Bobrovski lay on the bench and cheered up the home crowd several times.
At the same time, the Florida audience shouted loud “Bobby, Bobby” shouts.

Artturi Lehkonen succeeded
In the Western Conference playoffs, Colorado beat Winnipeg 5–2 away from home. At the same time, the match series was tied at 1–1. Colorado’s Finnish forward Arttu Lehkonen scored his team’s 2–2 equalizer.
Just three minutes later, the experienced winger Zach Parise scored the away team’s winning goal. Colorado’s strong finish to the second period culminated Josh Manson to make it 4–2 just seven seconds before the break.
Lehkonen was the only player with two power points in the match.
The next two matches of the match series will be played in Colorado, so the away victory came at a sweet spot for the summer 2022 champion team.
