The Floorball Association confirmed Esa Jussilas extension piloting the Finnish men

On Monday, the Floorball Association confirmed the expected agreement. The next men’s World Championships will be played in Tampere in December 2026.

Last December, the Finnish floorball men rose from four goals to the level of four goals with Sweden and in overtime to the World Cup. Esa Jussila worked for the first time in the Malmö World Championships as Finland’s head coach, and many considered his extension agreement to be obvious.

On Monday, the Floorball Association confirmed the expected agreement. The board of the union signed contracts with Jussila and his coaching team towards next year’s home race. The next men’s World Championships will be played in Tampere in December 2026.

Jussila’s previous contract was 2+2 years. When the option was completed, the agreement will last until the end of 2026.

-At least now, it seems that the potential of men got a scratch out at the Malmö World Cup. This time it was enough to win, but in the future, coaching must do its job even better to get the best out of the national team and do well in the home race, Jussila outlined in the union release.

Jori Isomäki, Jori Isomäki, will also continue as coaches Antti Vartiainen and goalkeeper coaching Jarno miracle.
