In a statement made by the Russian Ministry of Defense, “A MiG-31 fighter plane crashed during a planned training flight in the Murmansk region. The plane crashed into a place where there was no people. 2 pilots escaped by parachute using the ejection seat during the accident. Search and rescue helicopters took the pilots from their location and evacuated them.” it was said.
