The first trailer for Geistervilla promises fits of laughter and goosebumps

Pirates of the Caribbean has shown how successful a Disney movie series ride can become. Haunted Mansion now uses the same idea. The Disneyland Ghost Train comes to the cinemas as a whimsical fantasy horror. And the first teaser already shows a wild ride.

Star-cast fantasy horror aims for Pirates of the Caribbean effect

In Haunted Mansion, single mother Gabbie (Rosario Dawson) plans to move into a massive mansion with her son Travis (Chase Dillon). She soon realizes that it is haunted. To defend herself against the spirits, she hires a group of helpers.

These include a tour guide (Lakeith Stanfield), a priest (Owen Wilson), a medium (Tiffany Haddish) and a historian (Danny DeVito). But the ghosts are not so easily scared away.
