Almost 25 years after the film comedy My Bride, Her Father and I and 14 years after the last part of the successful series, Ben Stiller as George Focker and Robert De Niro as the grumpy stepfather Jack are set to return to the screen. Initial discussions with them and their female co-stars, Blythe Danner and Teri Polo, are already underway.
The Comedy trilogy from the 2000s was very successful internationally and, according to The Numbers, brought over 1.15 billion US dollars into the box office with low-threshold family gossip. Will we be able to build on the triumph?
