Jurassic Park star Jeff Goldblum is pretty damn cool. He is not only an actor, but also a jazz musician and has a correspondingly unusual fashion style. So it shouldn’t surprise us if Netflix hires him to play a version of God’s daddy Zeus who doesn’t run around in a flowing toga and greasy sandals in the fantasy series Kaos. But here we are, faced with the first teaser trailer with tracksuit and gold watch bling… and it still blows our minds a little.
Coming soon to Netflix: Fantasy fun with a Greek god in the midlife crisis
In the darkly humorous mythology dramedy by UK series creator Charlie Covell (The End of the F***ing World), the almighty Zeus notices how he is gradually getting on in years and fears the end of his reign. This is not good at all for his subjects and the world, because it makes him irritable and paranoid.
Is the end of time imminent? And have something six people to do with those who suddenly realize that they are involved in an ancient prophecy and a conspiracy involving the Greek gods?

Who was originally supposed to become the Netflix series Zeus?
Chief God Zeus underwent a minor transformation since the original Kaos casting. Hugh Grant, known from Paddington 2 and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, was actually supposed to take on the role. However, scheduling problems prevented him, so Goldblum was in front of the camera for filming in Spain from August 2022.
