Netflix has announced that the shooting of season 3 of The Witcher has begun. The video service shared the announcement of the new season with a photo from the set featuring Henry Cavill (Geralt of Rivia), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer of Vengerberg) and Freya Allan (Princess Cirilla). Produced by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, The Witcher is adapted from a world-famous book series. Geralt of Rivia appears as a monster hunter in the series, which is about the epic story of an epic family. In the new season of the show, Geralt does his best to protect Ciri from any threat that could jeopardize the integrity of her newly reunited family. In the new season, the Continent’s rulers, mages and monsters compete against each other to capture Ciri.
