The team took turns controlling the match and after the first four sets the score was 2–2 (22–25, 25–21,18–25, 25–21).
Portugal looked to make the process short in the fifth set, where they only go to 15 points. With a 10-2 lead, the Portuguese had the match like in a box. But then something happened to Sweden.
After being careless part of the beginning of the set, the block game now worked much better and Sweden got closer and closer. But after a missed serve from Vilma Andersson, Portugal was able to take home the set with 15-13 and thus also the match.
Both Sweden and Portugal now have seven points. In the next match, Estonia is waiting.
