Avatar fans had to be strong this week. Disney announced a number of new release dates, which include the James Cameron blockbusters around Pandora in addition to Marvel and Star Wars.
Avatar 3 will now hit theaters a year later in December 2025. Producer Jon Landau shared a statement with a vague first image from the sci-fi sequel. Among other things, it features fan-favorite Spider from Avatar 2: The Way of Water.

Every Avatar movie is a exciting but complex undertaking that takes timeto achieve the level of quality that we strive for as filmmakers and that audiences expect. The team is hard at work and can’t wait to bring viewers back to Pandora in December 2025. After the postponement, Avatar is said to be 3 am December 18, 2025 come to the cinema. Avatar 4 follows four years later on December 20, 2029. Avatar 5 won’t arrive until the next decade December 18, 2031 to the movies.
