Nadia Kahf, a lawyer in the USA, took the oath after being elected as a judge. Kahf, nominated by the Governor of New Jersey, became the first hijab-wearing judge in the United States. Kahf took an oath by pressing his hand on the Qur’an, which was inherited from his grandmother.
