(Finance) – It is online starting today The first episode from the docuseries on the road “Circular Future Tour”a project carried out within the framework of collaboration between Eduirenthe educational sector of Iren GroupAnd Giffoni Hub and which sees him as protagonist and host Youtuber Marcello Ascani.
“Circular Future Tour” is a journey in three stages which tells of the Group’s commitment to putting into practice the values of the ecological transitionof thecircular economy and of respect for the environment: the tour, carried out on board a Van – strictly electric – takes us between dams, waste treatment plants, bins and purifiersdiscovering the activities that Iren carries out in different territories. The three episodes will be published weekly until October 25th.
The first episodealready online on the Group’s YouTube channel, takes us to the sea: the protagonists will in fact be water resources and the great technological and professional commitment that Iren puts into play in Liguria to guarantee quality water to citizens and the many tourists who flock to the coasts, with the aim of contributing to the protection of an environment of great beauty, thanks also to the purification plants.
The second episode, dedicated to Emiliatalks about environmental services and how the circular economy becomes reality: starting from the waste collection services of the city of Parma, through the commitment of citizens and Iren staff, waste materials are transformed into clean energy for the territory. In particular, the images will tell the story of the production of biomethane and compost in the Forsu plant in Reggio Emilia.
In the end, in the third episodeto talk about electricity and how it arrives in our cities we will be in Piedmont: Marcello Ascani will start from the Ceresole Reale reservoir, in the Gran Paradiso National Park, to discover how hydroelectric production works and how, passing from the primary cabins of the electricity grid, such as the Arbarello Cabin, it arrives in the homes of Turin.
In the episodes of the Circular Future Tour the territories surrounding the Iren plants are also explored, searching for local curiosities and valuable realities present.
The editorial staff of Giffoni Innovation Hub also handled a call for collect questions from new generations on sustainability and the environmentselecting a group of three boys and girls who, in each episode, were invited onto the Van to participate in the tour and answer the questions collected online. The GenZ audience thus has the opportunity to experience this adventure not only through the eyes of the host but also through those of their peers. The Van, in fact, is the perfect place to discuss the values of sustainability, creating an edutainment meeting on four wheels.
