Cobra Kai doesn’t take a breather. The Netflix karate soap is already in its 5th season and there is no end in sight to the epic fight of the dojos in the valley. Especially since with each season new demons from the past enter the universe and disturb the peace. We’ve known since last week that Mike Barnes from Karate Kid 3 will be swinging his fists in Cobra Kai too. However, the first long trailer for season 5 does not let the monster off the chain.

In the trailer, instead, we see the usual fluff of Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) teaming up against powerful psychopath Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith). Terry Silver, on the other hand, may be responsible for the return of Mike Barnes, although he hasn’t revealed his alleged secret weapon in the trailer just yet. Instead, he introduces a new Sensei.

The authors may also dare to do the twist and Mike will return as a purified man and thus to Miyagi-Do’s side. Because Terry Silver seems to get along quite well on his own. For that, Daniel would have to jump over his shadow again. Mike is responsible for one of the worst beatings he’s ever taken.
When does Cobra Kai season 5 start on Netflix?
All new episodes of Season 5 Cobra Kai arrive on September 9th to Netflix. Season 6 shouldn’t be long in coming with the work ethos either.
