One of the most popular programs in the county is the economics program, but at Osbecksgymnasiet only two people chose it as their first choice.
– We will have to analyze this when all the application periods are finished and perhaps look at whether we can market our economics program better, says acting principal of Osbecksgymnasiet, Charlotta Eroldsson.
Peer pressure affects
Students at Osbecksgymnasiet know that it is often the choice of their friends that influences which school they apply for.
– If it’s a group of 10 guys who agree that they should study in Halmstad, then it shows in the statistics, says Matteus Kurtsson, who is in his third year at Osbecksgymnasiet.
