The first big Star Wars series of the year starts

Although the animated series The Clone Wars was initially laughed at, it has now become one an integral part of the Star Wars mythology and inspires numerous new projects. Some characters that appear in live-action series such as The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett and Co. would never have existed without The Clone Wars.

Three years ago, a follow-up series finally started, which follows directly on from the end of The Clone Wars. The Order 66 sets the events of The Bad Batch in motion. After two seasons that got steadily better, we are now entering the final round and experiencing the final battle of clone unit 99.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 starts on Disney+ and tells the final chapter of Clone Unit 99

At the beginning of the series, we see how the titular Bad Batch, Clone Unit 99, stands up against the Empire. Hunter, Wrecker, Tech and Echo are very skeptical of the rising power. Only the fierce sniper Crosshair flirts with the Emperor’s vision and finally switches sides.

One of these familiar faces recently caused an uproar among many Star Wars fans. As the trailer for The Bad Batch Season 3 revealed, the Clone Wars villain returns
Asajj Ventress back – even though she died long ago in her own novel. Is another Star Wars story being deleted from the canon here?
