One Piece fans have plenty to choose from. The anime adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s manga now has over 1000 episodes with countless adventures. The beginning of the story about the young pirate Luffy (Japanese original voice: Mayumi Tanaka) did not exist until now in good quality and with a German dubbed version for home cinema. That’s over now. At the January 12, 2022 The first 30 episodes will appear in a Blu-ray box for the time being.

In particular, the German dubbed version should please many fans. For those who learned about the anime series via TV broadcast, it will awaken a cherished childhood memory. Some community members want to hear One Piece in German only, but so far have only been able to do so in random TV order or outdated DVD quality.

Behind the Blu-ray boxes is the streaming service and distributor Crunchyroll, on whose site most of the series episodes are also available. So far only in the Japanese original with subtitles.
Collectors will also be aware when purchasing the box look forward to the enclosed 24-page booklet. For all original fans, however, caution is advised when buying. The Blu-ray box contains the first 30 episodes of the series only in German with optional subtitles.
