The Finns scored goals in the NHL round see

The Finns scored five goals in the night hockey NHL round. Sebastian Aho, Juuso Pärssinen, Esa Lindell, Miro Heiskanen and Matias Maccelli scored.

Finnish hockey players measured each other in the NHL when the Nashville Predators went on a raid in North Carolina. Nashville defeated the host team Carolina Hurricanes in a match that went into overtime with 6–5 goals.

The opening goal of the match was scored by Nashville with a wrist shot Juuso Pärssinen, after a good five minutes of the first period. Pärssinen also took an assist by Jeremy Lauzon about the success of the deciding set, which sent the match to overtime. Pärssinen has totaled 6+3=9 total performances this season.

Extra time didn’t last long, because the Swedish striker Filip Forsberg decided the match for Nashville after about half a minute.

Carolina was also credited with a Finnish goal from the match, because Sebastian Aho was responsible for the hosts’ 4–2 win. Aho scored a spectacular goal directly by Seth Jarvis input. The goal was Aho’s 11th of the season.

Antti Raanta was guarding Carolina’s goal, while one of Nashville’s Finnish veskars was on duty Kevin Lankinen. Raanta recorded 24/30 saves and Lankinen 26/31.
