The reigning champion Florida Panthers opened their season in the hockey NHL with a bang. In their opening game, the Panthers beat the Boston Bruins 6–4.

All the goals in the game between Seattle and St.Louis were scored in the second period. Seattle Kraken’s Finnish forward Eeli Tolvanen was responsible for the 2–0 hit.

A raucous opening in Utah: Lauri Markkanen on skates

The new NHL team Utah Hockey Club met the Chicago Blackhawks in their first NHL game.
