The Finnish women’s national football team will start the European Championship play-offs on October 25 on the away field against Montenegro. Montenegro will meet in Helsinki on 29.10.

If Helmarit wins the match against Montenegro, the winner of the match between Hungary and Scotland will face off in the second round. The second round will be played from 27 November to 3 December.
The seven winners of the second round will get a place in the EC final tournament to be played in Switzerland in the summer of 2025.
