The NHL season has officially started. The opening match of the season saw a Finnish encounter, when Juuso Pärssisen, Juuse Saros and Kevin Lankinen represented by the Nashville Predators faced the one who made his NHL debut Walter Merelän of the Tampa Bay Lighting.
