Until now called Dragon Age 4, the next episode of BioWare’s flagship series will finally be called Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. This is indeed what the studio and Electronic Arts have just announced via Twitter, revealing the official logo in the process. In a post published on his blog, BioWare explains that the term “Dreadwolf” – which already appeared in the teaser released during the Game Awards 2018 – refers to Solas, an apostate elf whose true identity is revealed at the end of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Obviously, no one has yet managed to pin him down with any precision, his motivations being described as “impenetrable“.
May the Dread Wolf take you.

Although they are aware that many questions remain unanswered, the developers promise that the answers will be provided when the time comes. Another important detail – even if it will not surprise anyone: Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will not be released in 2022. On the other hand, BioWare ensures that it will say more later in the year. It is well noted.
