Every film fan knows Robert Rodriguez and his legendary and legendary bloody action and fantasy works Sin City, From Dusk Till Dawn and Machete. Robert Rodrigeuz revealed to People that Spy Kids is based on his experience growing up in a family of ten children having an uncle in the FBI. The idea of child spies with cool sci-fi gadgets and Danny Trejo as a grumpy agent uncle was born. Rodriguez cut the first Spy Kids installment in his garage. It laid the foundation for one of the most successful sci-fi family franchises.
This is what Spy Kids: Armageddon is about: In the fifth part we get to know a new family of agents. A megalomaniacal game developer releases a dangerous computer virus. Siblings Tony (Connor Esterson) and Patty (Everly Carganilla) discover that their parents are spies and must take the fate of the world into their own hands.

Spy Kids Armageddon: The whole family united
So far, all four Spy Kids films have been shown in cinemas and each one has been a success. Played parts 1 to 4 over 550 million dollars with cinema tickets. Spy Kids: Armageddon is the first film in the series to launch directly on Netflix.
So far, Rodriguez has been able to big Hollywood names like Antonio Banderas, Carla Gugino, George Clooney, Jessica Alba and Sylvester Stallone for family films. Spy Kids: Armageddon stars Shazam! actor Zachary Levi and Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez as parents. Billy Magnussen (James Bond 007 – No Time to Die) plays the villain.
