Sports clubs are overwhelmed with registration requests. The enthusiasm generated by the Paralympic Games has generated 15 to 18% more club members. In Cergy Pontoise, in the north of Paris, a badminton club advocates inclusive sport: able-bodied people play with athletes with disabilities. The club The Cergy Flyers has three priorities: the integration of young people from the neighborhoods, the development of women’s practice and disabled sport. The para badminton section, created in 2021, is led by Méril Loquette, world number 4. Which earned it the federal label “Inclusive Club”.
