On Thursday, Per Bolund (MP) announced that he is leaving as spokesperson and speculation quickly began as to who he might take over – if there will be anyone at all, that is.
A favorite tipped name is Lorentz Tovatt, who was previously the party’s climate policy spokesperson but who chose not to run for the Riksdag in the autumn elections. He says to SVT that he is not interested.
– It is not relevant for me at the moment. Have full confidence that there are many strong candidates who can take over and that the party will now have a good process until the congress, he says.
Dalunde says no
Another person mentioned is Jakop Dalunde, who is today an EU Member of Parliament for the Green Party. But he also closes the door.
– No, I do not want to. I am an EU Member of Parliament and I enjoy it.
The name that, according to SVT’s sources, is the hottest, however, is Daniel Helldén, who is today a member of the Riksdag. Another name that appears is Henrik Ölvebro, who sits on the municipal council in Gällivare and recently issued the call that the Green Party should switch to a mouthpiece.
SVT is looking for Daniel Helldén.
