Warner Bros. Discovery’s strategy following its merger with Warner Media is becoming clearer. CEO David Zaslav spoke now about the fact that the studio will be back in the future Focus more on the most popular and successful franchises want. He also specifically mentioned the Harry Potter series.

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO wants new Harry Potter story starring JK Rowling

As Variety reports, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav offered specific wishes for the third-quarter earnings call Expansion of the most successful Warner brands.

Recently it was announced that Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad director James Gunn has been hired to direct the future of DC movies. Active plans for new Harry Potter films doesn’t currently exist, according to Variety sources.

It is noticeable that Zaslav not a word about the Fantastic Beasts series loses. After the last, financially disappointing part, the Harry Potter spin-off is probably as good as finished. On the other hand, more Harry Potter films are more likely than ever if JK Rowling can be inspired for new projects.
