A family with small children in Gislaved has scooped a record profit of SEK 173 million on the Eurojackpot.
Now the parents in their 30s will invest in spending more time outside in nature.
– This comes as a shock. It’s absolutely senseless! I can’t believe it’s true, says the father, who was putting the children to bed when he received the call.

On Friday evening, when the Eurojackpot draw was decided, it was clear that a Swedish played line dotted 5+2 correctly. Something that gave a record dividend of SEK 173 million to a couple in their 30s.

When Svenska Spel’s communications specialist reached the young children’s parents, they had not had time to correct their line themselves. The father had just come home from a party and was putting the children to bed.

– I’ve had the same lines now for a few years, but usually correct the game the next day. So I had no idea that we had won, the father tells Swedish games.

The family with small children had invested SEK 50. Now they are SEK 173 million richer.

Even though they have combed the big house, they will continue to work at their jobs to try to maintain routines and social life.

However, they have a clear plan of dreams that they will now realize.

– Primarily, the profit will go towards securing our future and that of our loved ones. We will never have to worry about money and that is a security of course, says the father of small children and adds:

– We both also love the outdoors and being out in nature. We want to prioritize that more in the future. We have long had a dream of buying a motorhome. It feels convenient to always have home with you when you go out and travel.

Now there is also a bank meeting for the parents of small children, where they will receive both legal and financial advice in connection with the distribution of profits.
