The doctor and psychiatric coordinator Ing-Marie Wieselgren was murdered this summer during the Almedal week. In order for her deed to live on, the family has now started a foundation. TV4 Nyheterna has met the daughter-in-law Lovisa Wieselgren Björkegren, who represents the family.
– It is an incredible trauma you are exposed to and it is important to adapt to an everyday life where she is no longer around, says Lovisa Wieselgren Björekgren.
Who was she to you?
– She was like my extra mother. She was an incredibly caring and kind person. Selfless, Lovisa continues.
In order for Ing-Marie’s spirit to live on, the family is now starting “Ing-Marie Wieselgren’s foundation – together for mental health”.
What do you want the foundation to contribute?
– To promote mental health, to provide tools and to find these people who want to push this work forward. I know she is proud of us and sits and smiles, says Lovisa Wieselgren Björkegren.
