It has now been five months since 16-year-old Jakob Hall was murdered around midnight in Örkelljunga. The murder hit the town where both the victim and the suspected perpetrators are teenagers.
– It is a nightmare to wait for him every day and know that he will not come home. There are no longer a lot of young people here, no laughter and life. No one who comes up and makes dry jokes or plays Allan. It’s just quiet, says Jakob’s mother Camilla Hall.

Orkelljunga murder: The prosecutor sees a possible motive
There have been several tours around the murder. Quick arrests where a teenager, who was first suspected to be written off, had to flee the place due to threats. At the same time, society rallied behind the family and Jakob was honored, among other things, with a motorcade.
– The support from the village and the community, loved ones, has been huge, says Camilla Hall.
Must attend the trial
The suspects are two boys, aged 15 and 16, who have been in custody since the beginning of February. The prosecutor is expected to file charges on Monday, June 10, almost exactly five months after the murder.
And once the trial starts, the family will be there.
– We will be there for them to see us. They will see Jakob and what they have done to an entire family, to an entire community. How they have ruined and crushed us, says Camilla Hall.
The suspected teenage boys deny any crime.
