Surprises are never lacking in Tesla’s dynamic world. Updated Model 3Just weeks after unveiling the , the innovative automaker appears to have another trick up its sleeve – the refreshed Model 3 Performance, which is expected to offer a new electric motor dubbed the 5D1.

For those who don’t know well what Tesla offers, the Performance model is at the top of the Model 3 series. Interestingly, Tesla did not provide any details about this high-performance variant during the initial announcement of the refreshed Model 3. Speculations began when documents appeared on the Tesla Fahrer Und Freunde forum pointing to a new engine distinguished by the “T” sign in the VIN.
