A massacre took place this evening in the war that started with the Aqsa Flood operation launched by Hamas and turned into an Israel-Hamas conflict. Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza, which has been under blockade from air, land and sea for days, was bombed and hundreds of civilians, mostly women and children, lost their lives. While reactions to the attack poured in from all over the world, all eyes turned to Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu.
“RAIN OF ROCKETS WAS FIRED BY TERRORISTS IN GAZA”
Netanyahu claimed that Israel did not carry out the attack and blamed it on the Islamic Jihad organization. Sharing on social media, Netanyahu included army and intelligence analyzes and sources. Netanyahu stated the following in his post:
“An analysis of the Israel Defense Forces’ operational systems shows that a barrage of rockets was fired by terrorists in Gaza and was very close to Al Ahli hospital in Gaza when it was hit.
“According to ample intelligence available to us, Islamic Jihad is responsible for the failed rocket launch that hit the hospital in Gaza.”
