Erik Karlsson is the best defender in the world right now.
At the same time as speculation grows about a move this summer.
Now Swedish expert Per Svartvadet points out Karlsson’s next NHL team.
The other day we got it confirmed: Erik Karlsson is the world’s best back. The 33-year-old received the great honor of receiving the prestigious Norris Trophy as the NHL’s best back last season.
Karlsson’s success

– Erik Karlsson had a great season in terms of points considering the team he played in, when San Jose didn’t have a good season at all, says the expert Per Svartvadet to Radiosporten and he is convinced that Karlsson will move this summer.
– I definitely think so and there has been a bit of talk during this season. Things usually happen around the NHL draft, that you change players here and there. I don’t think Erik Karlsson will play in San Jose next season.

Svartvadet believes that it can be clear as early as this week where Erik Karlsson will be here next and has already identified the perfect club for the Swedish NHL star. It is a team that would suit him perfectly and many Swedes probably agree with that.
– I would like to see him in an offensive playing team, like the Edmonton Oilers. They already have a rather expensive team, I think they are trying to make room for a defender like Erik Karlsson. They have many skilled forwards but he could be the tip of the scales if Edmonton is to go all the way next season, the hockey expert told the radio channel.
