Hockey drama on TV4 Play

The dissolution of the SHL and the Hockeyallsvenskan is approaching. Follow the playoffs in TV4 Play.

The regulations around the hockey high school must be improved, says TV4’s expert, Sanny Lindström.

The regulations as they are now look as follows:
– 1 January, year 8: make an initial contact
– September 7-11, year 9: application opens
– Oct. 10, grade 9: the club may make a first announcement

– There is a set of regulations that must be adhered to, but no one does it. It is bad. These dates no one follows. We are down to grade 7 hunting players. Clubs recruit players in grades 7 and 8. Parents sign up in other places so that their son can represent the club, says Sanny Lindström and continues:

– It’s absolutely to hell that you can’t tighten this up. Which player and individual is, when you enter ninth grade, ready to move away from home. The whole system is stressed. The Swedish Ice Hockey Association needs to sort this out.
