Strong reactions are now coming from both Turkish and Swedish sides to the fact that a doll representing President Erdogan was hung by the feet outside Stockholm’s city hall on Wednesday.
Ulf Kristersson condemned the protest action in Nyhetsmorgon on Friday morning:
– It is extremely serious. The second is that it is intended as sabotage against the Swedish NATO application.
Nils Funcke, an expert in freedom of expression issues, was appalled by the Prime Minister’s statement:
– We must have broad and broad freedom of expression, and then it is the one that comes before the interest that we join NATO.
