The ex chief of staff defines Trump as a fascist and

The New York Times magazine has interviews with John F. Kelly, who served as Trump’s longest-serving White House chief of staff.

A US general John F. Kelly decided when he left the White House that he would tell the truth About Donald Trump only if certain conditions are met. Trump had to do something that Kelly would find very troubling, that would directly concern him, or that would be completely wrong.

When Republican presidential candidate Trump a week ago considered using the military against an internal enemy, Kelly made his decision and gave three interviews to the newspaper for the New York Times (NOW).

According to Kelly, it was repeatedly explained to Trump during his presidency why the military should not be used against the citizens of one’s own country and that Trump did not have the authority to do so even though he was president.

– Now, however, he says that “I’m going to do it”, and that’s worrying, John Kelly tells NYT.

You can watch Trump’s statement to conservative Fox News in the video below:

“Trump is a fascist”

Kelly tells the NYT that he believes Trump meets the definition of a fascist and that he would seek to rule like a dictator if allowed. Kelly also believes that Trump does not understand the US Constitution and the principles of the rule of law.

– I agree with him politically on many issues, but it is very dangerous to elect the wrong person to a high position.

Kelly defines fascism in the NYT as a far-right authoritarian, ultra-nationalist political ideology and movement characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, and suppression of opposition.

– According to my experience, those are indeed things that Trump thinks will work better in leading America, Kelly says.

– Trump never accepted that he was not the man with the most power in the world – and when I talk about power, I mean his desire to do whatever, whenever.

Trump has openly admired authoritarian world leaders, such as the Russian president Vladimir Putin and the leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un.
