The European Unions plan to deal with drug shortages

Europe has been facing shortages of medicines for several months, both specialized and common. The European Commission presented, on Wednesday April 26, a reform of its pharmaceutical legislation, which is more than 20 years old and made partially obsolete by the Covid-19 pandemic. Most health issues remain within the jurisdiction of the States, but the pandemic has shown the effectiveness of joint action, to buy vaccines for example.
