A year ago, the agricultural crisis which affected most of the European countries had prompted the European Commission to make concessions on the simplification of the common agricultural policy (CAP) after demonstrations on the whole continent and in particular to Brussels. A year later, the Commission proposes a long-term vision for the European agro-food sector, a strategic sector that the Commission wishes “prosperous” and attractive.
